Our Law taster session is a great opportunity to experience what you would be studying in your first year and understand the variety of optional modules to suit your interests.

You’ll experience how we teach and delve deeper into Law with an interactive session.

Case study:

Public Law: We frequently encounter conflicting rights: celebrities may be concerned to protect their privacy whilst the media wants to expose the same celebrities and will rely on their right to freedom of expression. In this session you will learn about key rights under the European Convention on Human Rights, how those rights may conflict, and how you might advise clients in those situations.

During the event, you can meet our Employability Team and hear from our careers specialists. You'll learn how the team can support your ambitions and how to make yourself stand out for internship and job opportunities.

You can also speak to our Student Support and Wellbeing team to discuss the support offered to students, how we help students overcome concerns and difficulties, as well as contributing to positive mental, financial and physical wellbeing.

This virtual forum runs from 17:00-18:00 and provides an opportunity to speak directly with specialist University teams.

Our staff will be available to answer questions about LLB Law courses, the student experience and the skills required to succeed in the legal profession, including pathways to becoming a solicitor or barrister.
